Award-winning songwriter, performer, producer and philosopher Dave Nachmanoff is NachVille’s founder and director. For decades, his acclaimed writing, listening, theory, performance and production chops have enhanced the works of professionals worldwide. Today, these same strengths benefit everyone who finds NachVille – at retreats, workshops and festivals, at Dave’s California studio, and virtually anywhere people create.

Dave Nachmanoff
A truly independent musician, Dave's career is varied and never predictable. Dave earned his PhD in philosophy from UC Davis and has spent over 15 years touring, accompanying, and recording with Al Stewart as both his sideman and his opening act. Playing countless shows around the world at venues ranging from The Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia all the way to The Royal Albert Hall in London, England gave Dave the chance to get his own music out in front of tens of thousands of people and gain international exposure and recognition. Over the years, he has shared the stage with a long list of music legends including the likes of Alison Krauss, Steve Forbert, America, Supertramp, Firefall, John Wesley Harding, Elizabeth "Libba" Cotten, and many more.
